Dr. Babun is President & CEO of Cuba-Caribbean Development, a consulting division of BGC, Inc., one of America's largest providers of strategic services related to Cuba, and the National Executive Director of EchoCuba, a non-profit effort to facilitate independent human service development to providers and for humanitarian aid in Cuba. |

Dr. Babun is the author of more than 100 manuscripts and reports on Cuban business, political, and economic issues, including The Business Guide to Cuba—a special report dealing with: |

1) Current and post-embargo business opportunities in the island; 2) Cuba's Sea and Air Transportation; and 3) Cuba Infrastructure and Opportunities, a report dealing with ten key industries in Cuba. His most recent publication is titled The Cuban Revolution: Years Of Promise. |

He earned a Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D, from Vision International University, 2006, and a Doctor of Letters, D. Litt., from Miami International Seminary in 2002. |
